Holiday Lighting in Highland Park & University Park
Frosty’s Holiday Lighting designs, installs, maintains and removes holiday lighting for homes in Highland Park and University Park, and the design consultation is online: we work from your address, your photos and satellite and street views, so there is no appointment to schedule.
Highland Park and University Park are two separate towns surrounded by the City of Dallas, often called the Park Cities. We light in both, and the design approach is the same across the two.
The whole season comes from one team: the design drawn on a photo of your house, the installation, in-season repairs within 48 business hours, and removal beginning January 2.

The design
Designing for Highland Park and University Park homes.
Park Cities homes sit closer to the street on tighter lots, so the façade is what people actually see. We spend the design on façade detail rather than on drive lighting: rooflines and ridges, windows and arches, columns and pillars, the entry, and wreaths, garland and bows where the architecture gives them a place.
Front-yard trees matter more here than almost anywhere else we work, because they fill the short distance between the house and the sidewalk. Hand-wrapped tree trunks and lit tree canopies on mature street trees give a Park Cities front yard its depth, and they read from the sidewalk and from a car at the same time.
The architecture is largely traditional and the streets are lit end to end in December, so a consistent warm white across roofline, windows and trees suits the streetscape better than mixed color. That is where most Park Cities designs start — cool white, multicolor, red & white candy cane and a custom palette are all available, and the choice is made in your consultation.

Updated October 2026
Do you install holiday lighting in Highland Park and University Park?
Yes. We have installed in the Park Cities every season since 2022, in 75205 and 75225. Design, installation, in-season maintenance and removal beginning January 2 are all handled by our own team. Request a design consultation.
Do you need to visit my Park Cities property to design it?
No. We design online by default, from your address, your photos and satellite and street views, so there is no appointment to schedule and nobody has to be home. We draw the scheme on a photo of your house so you approve a picture rather than a description. An on-site walkthrough is available on request for larger estate, HOA and commercial projects. Start your online design consultation.
Do you work in both Highland Park and University Park?
Yes, both. Highland Park and University Park are two separate towns surrounded by the City of Dallas, often called the Park Cities, and we have installed in them every season since 2022. One design approach covers both: façade detail, entries, and the front-yard trees that fill a tighter lot. Request a design consultation.
