The design
Designing for Allen homes.
Allen is largely newer two-story homes in planned neighborhoods, many with brick or stone fronts, layered gables and a prominent entry. We trace the gables along the rooflines and ridges first, because on a two-story house the roof is what people see from down the street.
Planned neighborhoods tend to mean younger trees and tidy front beds, so pathways and flowerbeds, the windows and arches across the front, and columns and pillars at the entry carry more of the design. Where a front-yard tree has some size to it, a hand-wrapped trunk adds depth.
Wreaths, garland and bows at the front door finish it. Warm white suits stone and brick, cool white gives a crisp, modern look, and multicolor or candy cane in red & cool white or red & warm white bring more play, with more colors and custom combinations open to you on request.
