The design
Designing for Wylie homes.
Wylie is mostly newer neighborhoods of one- and two-story homes, with some larger lots closer to the lake. On a newer home we begin at the rooflines and ridges, then frame the windows and arches and the entry so the front reads clearly from the street.
A larger lot changes the plan. With more distance between the house and the road, fences, pathways and flowerbeds bring the light out to where people pass, and hand-wrapped trunks on the trees in the yard fill the space between.
Columns and pillars, and wreaths, garland and bows at the front door, add the finishing detail. Warm white, cool white, multicolor and candy cane in red & cool white or red & warm white are all available, as are more colors and custom combinations on request.
