The design
Designing for Farmers Branch homes.
Much of Farmers Branch is established neighborhoods: long, low brick homes set under big shade trees. A long roofline is a gift on a home like that, and we run the rooflines and ridges end to end so the whole front reads as one warm line from the street.
The trees do the rest. We hand-wrap the trunks, or the trunks and the main branches, to the height the design calls for, then frame the front windows and the entry so the house and the yard glow together. Pathways and flowerbeds can carry the light out to the curb.
Newer homes and townhomes in the city take a cleaner treatment: a crisp outline, wreaths, garland and bows at the door, and columns and pillars where the façade has them. Warm white, cool white, multicolor and candy cane in red & cool white or red & warm white are all on the table, and further colors and custom combinations can be arranged on request.
