Designing for Arlington homes.
Much of Arlington is established neighborhoods of two-story brick homes, and brick changes how a design looks at night. A clean line along the rooflines and ridges stands out sharply against it, so we trace the shape of the house rather than every edge, then frame the windows and arches that give the front its character.
Toward the south the lots open up and the homes sit further from the street, so the yard earns more of the design: hand-wrapped trunks, or trunks and the main branches to the height the design calls for, pathways and flowerbeds up to the door, and fences along the frontage.
Greenbrier Healthcare Center shows how much a little color can do: for the 2022 season we gave its front peak a candy cane outline and hung a pre-lit wreath on the gable and two more at the entry. A home can carry candy cane in red & cool white or red & warm white just as well, alongside warm white, cool white and multicolor, with more colors and custom combinations on request.
